The Air Jordan 19 Original / OG - Midwest / White / Chrome - Varsity Red were released on July 10, 2004. They feature a white and red upper, constructed from a combination of leather, mesh, and patent leather. The chrome accents, which can mainly be seen on the Jumpman logo, are great accents. They are dubbed the Midwest as they were part of a regional campaign, and only released in the Midwest region. The Air Jordan 19 (XIX) was modeled after the Black Mamba, the most dangerous snake on earth.
