The Air Jordan 22 (XX2 or XXII) 5/8 Low - Black / Varsity Red - White were released on September 2, 2007, and retailed for $125. They feature a black and red color scheme, with an upper constructed from leather and breathable suede portions. They are modeled after the F-22 Fighter Jet, and direct similarities can be seen through the sleek, sharp aerodynamic cuts which, on the plane, allow it to cut through the air like ice.
